I got this piece (as well as some similar items) from an estate. The estate was a former jewelry artisan and she has some really unique pieces.
I was also surprised to find out that the ball/insert clasp from this estate is marked 585 (14kt) yellow gold! The end caps are marked 1/20, 14kt.
This is 24" of all various types of Amber beads (yes they glow green under black light) with faceted garnet spacer beads at the bottom of the necklace.
