Baccarat Crystal Elephant Figurine, Vintage from 1980's, New In Box with Tags

Amazingly rare New in Box 1980’s Baccarat Crystal Elephant Figurine. It’s an abstract form that looks like an elephant when you look at it from certain angles, otherwise it looks like two humps. Acid etched “Baccarat” on the lower hind legs side and “BACCARAT FRANCE” on the bottom, along with insignia logo. Paper tag, “Baccarat” with logo on upper torso of this abstract elephant. Look how this French Hand Made crystal absorbs light, reflecting beautiful colors that are near it. You can see its head, even its trunk, when you look at it from the front. Dimensions are 3” tall, 3” wide and 1 1/14” thick, though these dimensions vary a bit from different parts of the body; head slightly taller than the rear and front abstract legs tapering to a narrow point along with the trunk. Weighs 12.5 ounces. Auction houses sell used Baccarat Elephants from $150 to $300. Haven’t ever seen a “new in box old stock” Elephant like this available anywhere.
