Folk Art Carved Old Time Primitive Cowboy Hillbilly Rifle Wood Figure Signed H E

Folk Art Old Time Primitive carved cedar wood figure. Cowboy, Hillbilly has a removable rifle that he holds. He is signed with the letters H E on the bottom backside of his right leg. I do not know who the initials stand for nor when this was made. He is mostly brown in coloring, with his vest and hat stained a black shade, and highlight colorings to his facial features and hair coloring. He measures approximately 7 and 3/4-inches tall, approximately 2 inches wide and approximately 1 1/2-inches deep. Looks to be that his head was carved separately and attached.
